Why an International Education?
The reasons behind an overseas education are innumerable. Extensive facilities, state-of-the-art infrastructures, brilliant teaching faculty, an international student community, a global exposure, personality development and career enhancements are just some of them. It is important to note that these advantages apply only to an education in high quality and fully accredited colleges and universities. The most decisive factor lies in the choice of the correct program / university / country.

How do I know which program / university / country choice is the most appropriate?
EDU-World has more than 20 years of experience, and has placed 6000+ students at various international destinations. Our rich experience, strong knowledge base and alumni feedback assist you in making the most suitable choice. Do view our websites testimonials section to read what our alumni have had to say about the services. An in depth analysis is made using an state of the art Client Management system  keeping in mind the student’s entire profile from  past educational background to future plans, finances and success in the chosen field.

What is the ideal time to start applying to Universities, and what are the different start dates?
Generally, the earlier that we start with the procedures the better. This specifically would be an advantage to those students looking out for scholarships. Some students start their application procedures as much as 2 years in advance. On the other hand, many students are successfully placed even though they start the procedures only a month in advance. Most commonly available start dates are in the Fall Session (August / September) and the Spring session (January / February).

What are the chances of procuring scholarships for undergraduate / graduate studies?
Financial aid is available in generous quantities to the international student. About 60% of EDU-World undergraduate/post-graduate students procure financial aid of various kinds. There are also some EDU-World students who have been placed with a 100% scholarship in the United States of America.
What about the expenses involved?
Broadly, the two major expenses associated with an education abroad are the tuition fees and living expenses, which differ from country to country and also depend on the type of program chosen. For the tuition fees, there are various forms of fundings available through scholarships, assistantships and bank loans. Living expenses can be partly compensated by working part-time along with your education. Most countries allow students this option. For further clarification, you can contact the EDU-World Counseling team, which will give you the approximate fee structure and living expenses for chosen course and destination.

What are some of the entrance exams required?
Depending on the country and course chosen, different entrance exams are required. As a general rule, American universities require TOEFL from all applicants - undergraduate and graduate. GRE/GMAT is required for admission into the Masters Degree Programs and SAT-1 (and in some cases SAT-II) is required for admission into the undergraduate programs. IELTS is mandatory for UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
What are the chances of getting a visa, and what about the procedures involved?

We are privileged to enjoy a 99% success rate with our visa applicants. Once the admission is secured, we will prepare you for the visa application.
